The Club owns a fleet of six electric two-seater buggies. These buggies are available for hire to golfers who require them on medical grounds but on a members’ first basis. Visiting golfers are requested to clear the use of a buggy with the Secretary’s Office in advance. As a general rule of thumb, members’ buggy usage is heaviest on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Generally buggies will be available for hire on most afternoons and at weekends. Where possible and in order to maximise availability, buggy users are asked to double-up and share a buggy and Society Organisers are requested to take this into account in the planning of their day.
We ask that buggy users drive carefully and safely around the course, wherever possible driving in the semi rough. During the summer months please do not drive buggies through the meadow rough. In the winter, please park buggies well away from tees, aprons, green surrounds and do not drive through, or park in, other wet areas. We also ask that buggy users adhere strictly to any white-line or hooped no-go areas in force on any given day.
