A drive finishing on the left of the fairway produces the best line into the green and leaves a short approach shot onto the putting surface which slopes down from front to back.

This is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular opening holes in the southern counties with panoramic views over Marlow, the Thames Valley and the Chilterns beyond.
