From the first tee, the Thames Valley spreads out before you and
with Bisham, Marlow and the river in the distance, you know
there is something special about this course. The downhill par 4
first hole leads you to an undulating course with beautiful
views throughout the round. The eighth is another stunning hole,
this time a par 3 which takes you down to the lowest point of
the course. From there you start to making your way gently back
up to the Clubhouse.
This 6210 yard, par 70 course remains true to its original
design and has many special holes which provide
challenges to golfers of all abilities. The tenth, for example,
is a long par 3 with a hidden green sunk down into a bowl and is
listed as one of the top 100 most unusual golf holes.
Whatever the season, the
course always has something very special to offer. Spring has its
many shades of green as the leaves burst into leaf. Summer brings a
blaze of colour with the wild flowers including several rare species
of wild orchids. In Autumn, the fall is always stunning and due to
the fact that it is built on chalk the course is an excellent Winter
golfing venue.
Come and play this
lovely golf course and enjoy a wonderful walk in the beautiful
english countryside!
