The 9th Hole

Looking down on the ninth green

Pro Tip

The sensible plan is to lay up and attack the pin with your approach shot.

Knight Templar

A testing par 5 from the competition and ladies tees. From the yellow tees the hole is played as a Par 4, the longest on the course at 434 yards. A great golf hole that should be played with the head rather than the heart. Although longer hitters can get up in two, the reward is seldom worth the risk. With dense woodland on both sides of the hole and a fairway which slopes down from right to left along the entire length of the hole, the 9th represents a real test of golf.
