To book your society/golf day you can either download our Society Booking Form, complete it and send it to us by post along with your deposit. Print booking form.

 

Alternatively, you can submit your booking via our on-line booking form. Once submitted, the details you have entered will be displayed to you in printable format. Please print out these details for your records and send a copy to us along with your deposit. On-line booking form.

 

The remainder of this page contains information that is intended to assist the organisers of society/company golf days and covers the important aspects of your day at Temple. A printer friendly version is also available. Print organiser notes.

 

Tee Reservations

The society start point is the 1st tee. Play is from Yellow markers (gentlemen) and Red markers (ladies). The first tee will be reserved as follows:

 

AM: from 9.15 am (9.30 am 1 November - 31 March)
PM: from 2.15 pm

 

As a planning guide organisers are advised to schedule their tee-off intervals as follows:

 

Two-balls/Foursomes/Greensomes 6 minutes
Three-balls 7 minutes
Fourballs 8 minutes

 

Please avoid slow play and invite faster matches through at all times. Please rake bunkers after use, replace divots and repair pitch marks.

 

Dress

We do ask that visitors respect our dress code.

 

Mobile Telephones

The use of portable telephones in the Clubhouse, and particularly on the golf course, is expressly forbidden.

 

Confirmation of Bookings

Do please ensure that your booking is accompanied by a deposit of £100.00 (£50 for Winter Packages). This deposit will normally be deducted from your account for the day. In the event of a society failing to arrive for a previously booked day or arriving with significantly reduced numbers, this deposit will be non-returnable. If a bar account is required please add £50 to your deposit.

 

Settlement of Accounts

A single invoice will be raised covering green fees, catering and any bar account. The Professional will raise a separate invoice for goods and/or services provided by himself or his staff. We do ask that society accounts are settled on the day of your visit. Should settlement on the day not be possible, please inform the Secretary at the time of booking.

 

Licensing Regulations

Licensing regulations stipulate that a list of the names of the persons in your group be provided before play.

 

Handicaps

Organisers are asked to ensure that each member of their group is in possession of a bona fide handicap certificate.

 

Notes:

  1. We do not discount for rounds shorter than 18 holes.
  2. The package charges quoted are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%.
  3. Meal only rates are available on request..
  4. The Club reserves the right to invoice for numbers originally booked unless informed of any reduction in numbers at least 48 hours in advance of your society/company day.
  5. Most societies/companies are happy to allow our Caterer to make the necessary catering arrangements. However, should you have any special requirements please telephone the Caterer (01628 824248) at least 48 hours prior to your society/company day.

Professional’s Shop

The services that can be provided by the Professional’s Shop include:

  1. Gift packs – always a popular souvenir of the day which can be tailored to meet your individual requirements.
  2. Logoed golf balls, towels, clothing and prizes.
  3. Prizes to fit your society or company budget.
  4. A card marking and competition service.
  5. The organisation of Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive and Putting competitions.
  6. Golf clinics to help set off your day with a SWING.
  7. Make it a fun day and have a video taken of your guests playing from the 1st tee. The resultant video can be enjoyed in the evening before dinner. Analysis by our staff is also available.
  8. Please advise us if you require an account opened for your guests’ trolley hire etc.

Although a CCTV system is in operation; members, guests and visitors are advised not to leave items of value on display in their vehicles. Temple Holdings Limited/Temple Golf Club accepts no liability for personal injury, loss or damage caused to patrons (or their property) whilst on the Club's premises. Members, guests and visitors are strongly advised to effect insurance against all possible risks.
