Probably one of the most difficult second shots on the golf course but one, that if executed well, should yield a birdie opportunity. The well-contoured green has a very narrow entrance and is protected by greenside bunkers left and right.

Pro's Tip

"A tee shot left of centre will avoid the well-placed fairway bunker and provides the best line into the green. Weight is the key to a successful approach, whether opting for a high flying shot or an accurate chip and run."

"Apart from the weather (a minor consideration despite the incessant rain which gradually increased towards the end of the round) this was a great day. The course was fantastic and the greens were in great condition despite the rain. The Secretary and all the staff were very accommodating to the point that coffee and biscuits were delivered to the changing room after the round – a welcome sight to 15 bedraggled golfers. The meal and setting was one of the best we have enjoyed and it was unanimously agreed to come again in the summer when good weather could be anticipated!”
