As you approach the tee for this longish, downhill and picturesque par 3, you will have a wonderful view over rolling wooded hills, a view that has probably hardly changed in centuries.

Pro's Tip

"A well struck tee shot aimed at the front left-hand edge of the green should see your ball follow the lie of the land and run down onto the two tiered putting surface."

"Apart from the weather (a minor consideration despite the incessant rain which gradually increased towards the end of the round) this was a great day. The course was fantastic and the greens were in great condition despite the rain. The Secretary and all the staff were very accommodating to the point that coffee and biscuits were delivered to the changing room after the round – a welcome sight to 15 bedraggled golfers. The meal and setting was one of the best we have enjoyed and it was unanimously agreed to come again in the summer when good weather could be anticipated!”
